Path to Progress
Origin Story
Can a lucky break lead to 20 years of steady growth in a business—fueled by positive client results in the furnishings and design sectors? For this custom PR and marketing service provider, the answer is definitely yes.
WorkTheBrand started with a single project for a legacy furniture manufacturer in the early 2000s. It was just me then, juggling quite a few balls in the air, before growing a team to manage comprehensive communications programs for a number of year-round clients.
WorkTheBrand reviews client press coverage the team worked to secure.
Evolution
Longevity can’t happen with stagnation. If there’s a secret to growing in business, I believe it’s the role continuous improvement plays in your mindset and your practice. You have to keep moving forward with your clients, their needs and an ever-changing business environment.
While it's been rumored online that author Malcolm Gladwell may revisit the “10,000-hour rule” he famously touted in his book Outliers, it makes sense that mastering a skill set occurs over time and with lots of practice. Given at least 40,000 hours (two decades worth) spent immersed in the worlds of designed interiors and the built environment, WorkTheBrand has surely earned its wealth of useful institutional knowledge.
Building on what you know is exciting, but it’s the application of knowledge that produces results. (Read the testimonials on this site to learn what our clients have to say about that.)
Future Forward
On the subject of progress, today WorkTheBrand is embracing AI tools and community building marketing strategies, further aimed at helping our clients achieve their business and communications goals.
