If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this adage could not be more true when it comes to social media marketing - where visual assets impact reach, engagement and other critical metrics, including sales.

According to inbound marketing specialist Hubspot, people retain only 10% of auditory information after three days. When the same information is paired with visual content, however, retention rates rise to 65 percent in the days that follow.

Given these statistics, our WorkTheBrand™ social marketing team aims to utilize compelling visual content (i.e., video, photos, infographics, and GIFs) in approximately 80 percent of social posts for our clients.

With a host of robust online photo editing tools, there’s no excuse not to create standout imagery for any social media marketing effort.
